Catch/Junior Swap
You can tell that the pound is weak and the Euro is strong with this example of an Anglo French swap. The fully tweaked 'Catch' has been sold to Guy Pronier (who runs the French QT Association) and his boat the original 'Junior' has been bought by Tim Rees (who can be seen crewing regularly on either Purple Haze or Sgt Pepper), Derek and James Moreland.  Fantastic, although we will miss you Darren......

Back in 2005 when we had the first of the Quarter Ton Cup here in Cowes, James Blackburn took part in Quartet - some of you may remember.  He then sold the boat, emigrated to New Zealand and never lost touch with us.  He has now bought a Gary Mull designed (although he is not completely sure) boat built in 1981 called Swamp Dog - see the Fleet for more details and he busily rebuilding her Junior........is now called 'Menace' - wait till you see the spinnaker..... - is now back in Hamble. The deck gear has been removed and is being replaced. Watch this space.. They hope to be out by Easter....
